What is Life Coaching?
Years ago people used coaches - a horse-drawn 4-wheeled carriage.
The coach served the purpose of comfortably getting someone from where they were physically to where they wanted or needed to be.
Figuratively speaking, the role of a Life Coach serves the same purpose – its goal is to help a person get from where they are in Life to where they want or need to be.
Life Coaching applies the concept of “positive psychology” which focuses on an individual’s strengths, talents, and skills. Coaching offers communication and activities that helps one identify these areas and accentuate them so that desired success follows.
Coaching focuses NOT ON WHAT IS WRONG in a person’s life,
Coaching focuses on WHAT IS RIGHT in a person’s life and strives to magnify these areas.

This course is delivered in 26 self-study modules over a 28-week period accompanied by weekly group Zoom sessions.
Recordings of Zoom sessions will be made available.
Attendance in - or reviewing of - weekly sessions is a requirement to receive certification of completion.
The first Zoom meeting for upcoming cohort will be Thursday, January 5, 2023. Material for study and preparation will be made available to you on or before December 26, 2022.
About your Instructor:
The Stress Weapon's Life Coaching Course was developed by Darlene Morris-Brice, founder and CEO of Stress Weapons Inc.
Darlene has worked in the field of holistic health for forty-plus years and has ten years experience as a life, health, and stress management coach.
She holds a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies in Life Coaching, Health Sciences, Marriage and Family Counseling and Christian Counseling.
In addition, she holds certifications in Holistic Health Care, Clinical Hypnotherapy and Neuro Change and is a Reiki Master, Yoga Instructor and Social Emotional Learning facilitator.
